The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greek Branch held its 14th Annual Forum, on 11 December 2018 at Eugenides Foundation. The title was: «2020: The year that will change shipping» and the Forum was well attended by over 500 shipping professionals of the Greek and International shipping market. Mrs Natalia Margioli – Komninou, FICS, Managing Director of the ICS Greek Branch and Hellenic Management Centre and Mr Nicolas A. Tsavliris, FICS, Chairman of the ICS Greek Branch launched the event which took the form of a panel discussion and then open debate between panelists and delegates. The panelists were: Jonathan Elvey, maritime arbitrator, mediator and legal consultant, Jon Elvey Consultancy; Panos Mitrou, MICS, technology and innovation manager, Marine & Offshore, Business Development, South Europe, Lloyd's Register; George Lazaridis, MICS, head of market research and asset valuations, Allied Shipbroking; Mark Pearson, md, Maran Tankers Management Inc; Nicolas A. Tsavliris; Harry Vafias, president and ceo, Stealthgas Inc; Adrian Wooldridge, FICS, coo, Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation; and as moderator, Simon Ward, FICS, director, Ursa Shipbrokers.
